We are all theologists

I'm beginning to understand how postmodernism came about and to understand how our culture comes to know truth. In this world the bible, tradition, and reason have been thrown out and there's nothing left standing to believe and have hope in. What you believe may work for you, but mine is something different then yours, so therefore truth is subjective.. Relativism denies that truth is transcendent. Modern say's " It's my way, or the highway". Then there are those who are skeptical and their's is the belief that truth cannot be known with certainty The postmodern says " Boy, you sure are naive, I feel sorry for you" & the sciences can not be trusted to the fullest; well maybe in upgrades in making entertainments in my life like my IPOD and making one that holds 5,000 songs instead of 200. And to think, that Pluto is no longer a planet? What's up with that? What about the pragmatist who's thoughts are "If it doesn't work, then it's not truth!"& then the objectivist who believes that truth is an objective reality that exist whether someone believes it or not. And it's all to understand how you and I know. How do you come to know truth?

We are missionaries with The Brook Ministries in Costa Rica. We are here to help strengthen the church body of Jesus Christ & to fulfill His Great commission to the lost. At our conferences, my husband directs the recreational activities & excursions. I provide physical renewal with massage for the female attendees. We believe that regularly scheduled renewal of the body, mind, & spirit for ministry leaders in particular, will empower them to serve the Lord with renewed strength & perseverance to do what God has uniquely called them to do....SERVE & BUILD HIS CHURCH to the outermost parts of the world!
