Holy Land shots


EASTERN GATE- The place the bible says that Christ will return. They will open when He comes.
BETH SHEAN- This is the place that Kings Saul's body was found along with his 3 sons on Mt Gilboa. Beth Shean was part of the territory originally given to the tribe of Manasseh when Israel returned to the promised land at the time of Joshua.
JORDAN RIVER baptism- 2nd re-committment for me at this blessed site.
MASADA This is Herod's palace that we took a cable car to reach the summit. This is where jewish zealots made their final stand in their revolt against Rome.
HEZEKIAH'S TUNNEL King Hezekiah (during the time of Isiah the prophet) diverted the water from the Gihon Spring (Jerusalem's water supply)into the city. He realized that the city would not survive with out water during a long siege. The tunnel is about 4 football lengths!
